Dysart Boxers
In the Seventies Jim had two beautiful Boxer bitches, Tirkane Top Ten and her daughter, Sapphire of Seaforde.

Sire: Ch. Starmark Sweet Talking Guy Dam: Tirkane Thunderchild Tina was shown lightly but always did well under breed specialists. She loved a 'wee drink' and no one's glass was safe near her. |
Sapphire of Seaforde
Sire: Ir. Ch. Braxburn Orion Dam: Tirkane Top Ten Judy loved a scrap and often had to be carried from the ring to stop her having a set-to with her rivals. She won a few Green Stars, but the highlight of her show career was when she won the Reserve Challenge Certificate at the Irish Boxer Dog Club Championship Show under a German Breed Specialist. |

Punch was Top Boxer Puppy in Northern Ireland, and continued to win well throughout his show career, with multiple Best of Breed awards and Group Placings at open shows. He also won a few Green Stars although he was not seriously campaigned at IKC shows. He is pictured here with Jim's cousin, Pearl Ward, who regularly handled Punch in both breed and junior handling classes.
Punch had been born and raised in Pearl's home, and she regarded Punch as 'her' dog, so when Jim met Carol, Punch stayed with Pearl, and they decided to make a 'fresh start'......
